Dear readers,

As you may have noticed in this month’s issue, there is no overseas article to be found.

It is with deep regret that I am resigning as the overseas Editor, and will not be overseeing any more articles in the future due to an unforeseen circumstance.

My Facebook account was closed for violation of its “real name” policy recently. As I used a pseudonym to identify myself with the Nanoblock community and my works closely, it was unfortunate to lose my administrative rights to my Facebook Page, and all of my archives and comments made in Nanoblock Facebook groups vanished with no hope of recovery.

As this position requires the use of a Facebook account in all aspects, the sudden closure of my Facebook account has propelled me not to recreate another one in protest of its draconian policy.

Therefore, it is with regret that I have to resign from this position.

It has also come to a point that I should step back from Facebook, start afresh elsewhere and dedicate more time and energy towards my building projects.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Head Editor, Yasuaki Matsumoto (hom2yant), for giving overseas readers an opportunity to contribute to the Monthly Nanoblock e-magazine, and to all contributors for their goodwill in making everything possible; it has been a great privilege to work with all of you.

I truly believe the Monthly Nanoblock e-magazine and website, under the Head Editor’s stewardship, has flourished into an indispensable reading material and model-building reference for all fans and builders worldwide, and it will continue to do so with the vigorous support from the Nanoblock community.

Lastly, I wish everyone in the Nanoblock community all the best in their future endeavours. May your enthusiasm and continuous support help bring even more people into Nanoblock.
